Andrew Ackerman - Director/Producer
Andrew was on his way to pursuing a career in underwater photography/videography when he started studying masculinity issues. He decided to do his senior film thesis on the subject and signed up for an MMA fight to explore the subject. Through his journey he started to learn about violence and its effects on society and today's men. He also started to love martial arts. He met Brandon at a UFC training center in Denver Colorado and realized the man didn't match the preconceptions.
Andrew is currently working on an interview series in associated with Outside Magazine and on a feature length film with Sundance Award winning director, Jeff Orlowski.
Matt Hedgpeth - Writer/Production Assistant
Matthew Hedgpeth is a writer and musician. While this is his first foray into nonfiction film, he is an experienced storyteller with an insatiable appetite for narrative, particularly literary prose and film. He has traveled extensively throughout the United States and relocated to Denver in October of 2013.
